Privacy Policy
Edmund Vale: The Last Curse of Ra (“the game”) is made by Ghassan Al Mamar. This policy explains what happens to your information when you play it. The short version: we do not collect personal data through the game.
Information we collect
The game has no developer accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics SDKs and no third-party tracking tools. We do not operate a game server or receive your gameplay activity. The game communicates with Apple through StoreKit to load, purchase, restore and verify the optional Full Journey Unlock.
Information that stays on your device
The game uses your device’s motion sensor for a visual effect on the title screen, and it works with game controllers and haptics. These features operate on your device. Settings and a checkpoint at the purchase boundary are stored locally. Game progress is not synced between devices. The game checks verified Apple purchase information to determine whether the paid journey is unlocked. We do not receive your payment details.
Purchases
Apple processes the optional, one-time Full Journey Unlock purchase under its own terms and privacy policy. Your purchase can be restored on supported devices using the same Apple Account. We do not receive your Apple Account password or payment-card information.
Apple and TestFlight
If you get the game through the App Store or TestFlight, Apple may collect information such as crash reports, usage data and any feedback you choose to send, under Apple’s Privacy Policy. If you send beta feedback, the developer receives what you include in it (for example, your comments, screenshots and email address) and uses it only to improve the game.
Retention and deletion
Local settings and checkpoints remain on your device until they are reset or the app and its data are removed. Apple manages purchase records under its own policies; removing the app does not cancel your purchase. We retain support correspondence while it is needed to handle your request and related follow-up. You may ask us to delete that correspondence by emailing the contact below.
Children
Because the game collects no personal data, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or payment-card details.
